Okay, here’s what’s happened so far: First, we got up at 3:30 in the morning (Central Time) and got dressed, then drove off to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport with Mary Grace and we checked in and went through security BUT me and Ben were “Selected Randomly” as suspicious so they made us stand in a cubicle! After that we found our flight gate for US Airways and waited a bit, then took off. It was a little cramped airplane with hardly any aisle room to walk around in and Ben got the seat next to the window but I got a half decent view anyways. Then, after two hours we landed in Phoenix but now it was a different time zone! Oh no! It felt like two hours but it was only twenty minutes! How horrific. Anyways, we got off the plane and wandered around for a while, trying to find our flight gate and finally we saw the gate sign: A14. We got there and the people who check your flight tickets informed us that our flight cushion had been ripped. We waited for a bit and then boarded when it was ready and took off. After a while I inserted The Incredibles DVD into Mama’s Mac and watched it but over the engine hum there was no legible sounds coming from the computer and I turned on closed captioning. Then Finally, we reached Portland, Oregon. Good Grief. Then we left the airport and found our car (Which, by the way, is white and looks like Oma’s car) and drove off. Everyone was starving because nobody had had a decent bite of food the entire journey and we ate at this chinese restaurant called Ping. Mama selected it and guess what?  It was the best of the top ten best restaurants in Portland! Mama prides herself with this achievment. Then we left for the hotel, Embassy Suites (Can you believe you have to pay for Wi-Fi here?) and got tangled in traffic and road blocks and finally we were almost there when Mama shouted “STOP!” because we were next to an organic berries stand and boy are those berries delicious. Everyone loves those berries (Mama prides herself in this achievement too) so we took out car to the hotel and finally got there and got checked in but the Internet is 9.95 a day! Then we came down and Mama and Ben went swimming and I got on the business computers there and wrote half of this but then we went back upstairs and looked for a place to eat when we got out of the hotel and found a place called Apizza Scholls to eat Pizza. So we ordered some Pizza and I ordered some Sprite as a drink but it was made in Mexico with pure cane sugar in a large bottle of glass (kind of like a wine bottle, I guess) and I was freezing when I drank it but was also so exhausted so I tried to lie down on Dada but he picked up Alana. (You know, I was tired because of the Jet Lag. I think it was at least Five in Portland time, and Seven in Central Time) The Pizza took forever to come and when it did it was big so I picked up a slice and ate it while Ben ate three in the same time, and then Dada passed the law that we had to eat the crust. Normally, I’d be fine by that, but the crust was pretty burned and Ben got my last slice while I struggled to eat the crust of my first one. Anyways, then we piled in our little white car and tried to find a place called Voodoo Doughnuts and when we did, the line had about sixty eight people or at least forty and it stretched forever so we decided not to go, and besides, we were about to pass out of exhaustion anyways. So we backtracked and headed for the car, piled in and reached our hotel, got in the cool elevator  and went to floor 8, got to our suite, pushed in the key card, opened the door, got in our pajamas and brushed our teeth, then hopped into bed, all three of us, Me, Alana and Ben, and fell asleep. I awoke suddenly in the middle of the night, but to be truthful with you it was pitch black so I have no idea what time it really was. But I woke up because Alana had rolled over on my pillow and was pushing me over the edge with her sharp elbows and pushy feet. I didn’t sleep. Finally, she decided to roll over back onto her pillow and leave me in peace. I fell asleep and the next thing I know, I’m awake and sunlight is pouring through the blinds. Naturally, I thought it was Eight O’ Clock, but in fact it was only Five! In central time that would be about eight, though. Ben was awake too and we started to goof off and then Alana woke up and we all goofed off and then Dada banished us from that room because we were being too noisy so we went into the main room and watched TV. But the only thing on was Team Umizoomi so we watched two episodes of that and then took a shower and got dressed and everything and then we went downstairs for breakfast and bumped into Cyndi Lou! So we ate together and then Cyndi left for the decorations for Geebs’s party and we left for Geebs’s house and when we got there we helped move things and get things organized and then I started up the Lenovo and hopped on to the Wi-Fi network and wrote this. So Cyndi and Ben started working on a maze for me and I was writing this and then Grandpa came back and then the maze was put on pause. So I blew up balloons and everyone else did too and Cyndi tied mine and put up streamers so it ended with me and Cyndi outside putting up yellow and green streamers all over and we ran out when we attempted to wrap the lamp post with streamers all over. Then we hopped in the car and drove to the zoo where we were supposed to meet up with Geebs and then we arrived and ate at the zoo then we went around it and met up in the bats exhibit and Geebs came and we surprised him and then we went to the zoo store and I got a panda stuffed animal and then we hopped in the car again and drove back to Geebs’s house and found the cat and then I wrote this. We had cake and Ben fell asleep while we were eating. So, after we ate the cake, we left and went back to the hotel. Then we got into our pajamas and went to sleep. We woke up and played with our stuffed animals quietly but then Dada kicked us out because we were being too noisy and then we tried to start up the TV, but the only thing on was some kind of sign language show and spongebob. So we turned off the TV and played with our stuffed animals and Alana played with her  little plastic weird looking toys and then we played for a while and then Mama and Dada came over and told us to get dressed because we were going to OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry). We got to OMSI and it was awesome. There was an Imax theater playing Sea Rex, Born to be Wild, Tornado, and a bunch of other movies. We booked to see Born to be Wild and then got tickets to see Game On. Game on is an exhibit all about games. Like the first one ever, Pong. Video Games, I mean. It was awesome. You even get to play Pong there. So we eventually left that exhibit and moved to the Kids section or something and it was even more totally awesome than the Game On section! There was this room where there were little balls and you could stick them in tubes and turn on the air and b then they would float. Then me and Mama went to the Physics Lab and saw some cool Physics stuff. Like a strobe light. There was a stream of water that was going down and when you adjusted the strobe light, you could make it sit still, go backwards, make it flash and other cool stuff. Then we looked at the morse code thing but it didn’t work out so we looked at the Plasma Tube and tried it but it wasn’t so impressive and then we looked at this weird liquid that made weird shapes when you put magnets close to it and then Fyo tricked me maliciously by telling me to hold two metal rods and there was a light bulb at the end so I thought it would light up or something so then the counter guy turned the crank and it electrocuted my hands! We left the lab after that. Then we went to the chemistry lab and made some weird little jelly balls and we left and went upstairs and found Dada trying to suck up the little balls from a controller and then he let me try and I almost had them all but I just couldn’t get one and then we left to watch our Imax movie and it was awesome. The screen was all over the ceiling and it was basically 3D without wearing 3D glasses. After the movie we left OMSI and went to the market and got some Gyros. We ate them for a while and then finished them off and explored the market and we got ice cream after a while and saw a Voodoo Doughnuts box that said ‘Good things come in Pink Boxes’. After that we left the market and then drove back to the hotel and relaxed and then drove over to a place called Bethany’s Table and ate there and then it got late and drove back to the hotel and got in our pajamas and went to bed and then I woke up and it was the perfect time in the morning and then Ben woke up and we went into the living room and played and then we got dressed and then everyone piled into the car and drove to the beach and that took forever and then we got there and I dug a pit and Ben waded  into the ocean and then the tide came in and our shoes and socks and pants got soaked so then I changed into shorts and flip-flops and then we got some Webkinz and ate lunch and then drove off to Geebs and Tiffany’s house and pretended to give Greg a parking ticket and then went into the house and made dumplings and then I wrote this!
